Russian min sees stable oil market, oil price at $50/bbl in 2018

MOSCOW, Sep 7 (PRIME) -- The oil market is expected to be stable in 2018, and the average Brent oil price could amount to U.S. $50 per barrel, Energy Minister Alexander Novak told Rossiya 1 television channel late Wednesday.

“In my opinion, next year will be stable and Brent prices will be around $50 (per barrel) on average. The range could be expanded – from $45 to $55, at least there are such estimates now, based on the situation connected with the current market and the situation which is being balanced under an OPEC agreement. We aim for the market to be non-volatile and prices to be stable,” he said.
